Place maple syrup and margarine in microwave proof jug and cook on high for 2 minutes stirring once.
Carefully mix in water and bicarbonate soda and pour into the dry ingredients, mixing well.
Press into tin and bake for 15 20 minutes.
Let it cool and cut into rectangles
