  • 3/4 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 3/4 cup Rolled Oats
  • 2 tsp Instant Coffee
  • 185 g Cooking Chocolate
  • 100 g Walnuts Or Glaced Cherries, Halved (optional)

Mocha Coconut Balls | Stay At Home Mum

These balls are the best of chocolate and coffee and the added cherries make for a taste sensation.


  1. Cream together butter and icing sugar.

  2. Add coconut, rolled oats and coffee and mix well.

  3. Roll into small balls and refrigerate for at least a couple of hours.

  4. Melt chocolate and coat balls then top with a walnut or cherry.

  5. Tim Tam Balls

  8. Chocolate Condensed Milk Balls

  9. Chocolate Salty Balls

  10. Apricot Balls

  11. Peanut Butter Balls

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • For a variation, mold the mixture around a walnut or whole glace cherry before coating with chocolate
  • Recipe is suitable for freezing.  Layer between sheets of baking paper and seal in an air tight container in the freezer for up to two months.
