Of all the soups, this would have to be my absolute favourite. Thick, hearty, and delicious.  This recipe uses the whole ham hock, which you chop up at the end so you can enjoy huge chunks of ‘bacon’ in your soup.  

Guaranteed to be enjoyed, even by any men in your life – because it is a MANLY soup!
